Exercise 2. Chord of F

The chord of F uses three fingers on the fretting hand. We also introduce a new technique with this chord which is a barre - also known as a bar chord. This is where we take one finger and play more than one string simultaneously. In this particular chord, we take the first finger and we lay it across the second and the first strings at the first fret. The second finger play on the fourth string on the second fret, and the third finger plays on the fifth string on the third fret. The right hand strums from string five to string one. [David strums.]
