I had a great question from a customer today about the EZ-AG having only 12 frets. I thought I would share my reply based on my experience.

Certainly for beginners there is absolutely no problem with the EZ-AG having just 12 frets. That is more than you need for some while when studying with Gigajam.

Once you become proficient you will almost certainly be migrating onto a more traditional acoustic/electric guitar. I cannot imagine that your learning will be impeded until then. I have used the EZ-AG very effectively in my own learning with the guitar course and often move between using my electric and acoustic guitars. I particularly use the EZ-AG when learning new shapes as I find getting them together on the EZ-AG really useful before moving onto the 'real instruments'.

When you become fairly proficient the EZ-AG is a great MIDI controller and when recording music using desktop recording packages like Cubase, it is great for playing your music in, rather than using a keyboard.
